ABOUT THE ARTIST: 
Candice is a multidisciplinary Dakelh artist from the Northern Interior of British Columbia. Her U'loo (mother) Yvonne George is Stellat'en and U'ba (father) Wilfred George is Wet'su'wet'en. She comes from a matrilineal society, born into the  Kilweneetz'en (Little man) house, a sub-house crest within the caribou clan.
